There’s a version of this industry that runs on pressure, false urgency, and telling people what they want to hear. I got into real estate to do the opposite.

When I was 24 years old, fresh out of school and coming off several years working at Apple, I made a deliberate decision to bet on myself in one of the most relationship-driven industries there is. I didn’t have a large network of people ready to buy homes — most of my friends were still living with roommates. What I did have was a genuine belief that the way real estate was being done could be done better, and a work ethic shaped by one of the most demanding, customer-obsessed companies in the world.

A local brokerage gave me the room to prove it and I set out to do exactly that.

What those years at Apple really taught me wasn’t how to sell. It was how to listen. How to understand what someone actually needs versus what they think they want. How to take something genuinely complex and make it feel clear and approachable. How to treat every single interaction as an opportunity to earn trust.

Those lessons don’t belong to the tech industry. They belong to any business built on relationships — and there are few decisions more relationship-dependent than this one.

Over a decade later, my belief hasn’t changed. Neither has the approach.

What this looks like in practice.

You’ll always get the full picture. Not the version designed to simply push you towards a sale.

We’ll tell you when the timing isn’t right, when the price isn’t justified, and when the neighbourhood you love might not be the right fit for what you actually need. The advice you get from us is the same advice we’d give a close friend.

And when you make your move — whether you’re upsizing from a condo, buying your first house, or trading up for more space — you’ll do it knowing you made the right call.

How We Work.

Every client we work with goes through the same process. We call it the G.U.I.D.E. steps of service — and we built them because we believe the way you're guided through a transaction matters just as much as the outcome. Not because it's efficient for us. Because it's what gets the right result for you.

Kinch Group — How We Work
  • Step 01

    Get to know you first

Before we talk about properties, prices, or neighbourhoods, we take time to genuinely understand where you are and where you want to be. Your timeline. Your priorities. What you've outgrown and what you're moving toward. Great advice starts with great questions.

  • Step 02

    Uncover the full picture

Most clients come to us knowing what they want. Our job is to make sure they also understand what they need — and the difference between the two. We dig into the data, market conditions, neighbourhood dynamics, and realistic outcomes so every decision is grounded in complete information.

  • Step 03

    Inform honestly, always

This is non-negotiable. You'll always get the truth from us — about pricing, timing, value, and risk. Even when it's complicated. Even when it's not what you were hoping to hear. Especially then. An advisor who only delivers good news isn't actually advising you.

  • Step 04

    Drive the process with you

We don't hand you a map and wish you luck. We navigate this together — managing every moving part, anticipating obstacles before they arrive, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. The transaction is complex. Your experience of it doesn't have to be.

  • Step 05

    Earn the outcome you deserve

Everything we do is oriented toward one thing — the result that's genuinely right for you. Not the fastest close. Not the easiest path. The decision that six months from now you look back on and know was exactly right.

OUR MISSION

To give every client the clearest, most honest picture of the Toronto market - and the guidance to move through it with confidence. Not simply sell you a home. To make sure you make the right one.

What We Believe

Honesty over comfort

We’ll always tell you the truth about your situation — even when it’s complicated, even when it’s not what you hoped to hear. That’s not a value we talk about. It’s one we demonstrate in every conversation.

A different standard of service

Early in my career I learned what it looks like when a company builds everything around the person in front of them. That standard came with me into real estate and it hasn’t moved. Every client. Every time.

Problems get solved

Things go sideways in real estate. What matters is how you respond. We take ownership, move quickly, and focus entirely on resolution — regardless of where the problem originated from.

Knowledge is the product

The real estate market is complex. Our job is to make it less so — by doing the work, staying current, and translating what we know into decisions that actually serve you.

This is what working with Kinch Group actually looks like. If it sounds like what you’ve been looking for let’s talk.
